Delivery Manager (Clean Energy)

Fourblue has partnered with a successful company in the utility and civil engineering sector, who are now looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to oversee the execution of their clean energy projects. In this role, you will ensure that each project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities of the Delivery Manager:
* Ensure health and safety is always prioritised across all projects, both on and off-site
* Ensure compliance with Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and CDM packs, making sure they are available and understood by the team
* Lead monthly audits and conduct safety inspections, addressing any non-compliance
* Conduct regular programme meetings, proactively adjusting schedules and resource allocation to meet customer needs
* Coordinate with project managers to ensure all upcoming works are planned effectively, enabling smooth project execution
* Provide guidance, mentorship, and regular performance reviews to site staff and support teams
* Oversee the construction of quality products that meet project specifications, ensuring value for money and securing repeat business
* Keep end-life forecasts and forward work plans up to date, ensuring resources are used efficiently and projects are completed on time and within budget
* Collaborate with the commercial team and project managers to ensure profitability and address any potential areas of improvement
Criteria for the Delivery Manager:
* SMSTS certification
* First aid certification
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a site supervisory role, with a preference for experience as a Project Manager or Contracts Manager
* NEBOSH General Certificate
* HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Construction Management
* Full clean driving licence
* Strong working knowledge of the construction and clean energy sectors with a focus on EV
* Familiarity with CDM regulations and health and safety requirements
