Job Opening
We have a new opening for an experienced Deputy Manager to oversee our Adult Residential Service. Within these services, we support individuals requiring various levels of support around both learning difficulties, mental health and other diagnosis. You will need to have proven experience of working in a similar environment and position.
Deputy Manager Responsibilities
1. To be responsible and participate in the day-to-day running and supporting the manager
2. Ensure Service has sufficient support
3. Offer Sleep In Support (additional supplement)
4. To promote positive and personalised outcomes of Service Users
5. To maintain accurate notes and records as and when required
6. To deliver a high level of quality support to Service Users
7. To work as part of a team to provide high quality care
8. To recruit, manage, retain and train staff both individually and as team members
Key Skills
1. Previous experience of working with people who have Learning Disability/Mental Health
2. Relevant professional qualification (Level 3 Health & Social Care)
3. An understanding of and commitment to providing Equal Opportunities
4. Knowledge and first-hand experience of current Health & Social Care legislation, including the Mental Health Act.
5. Demonstrable evidence of supporting people in a person-centred way
6. A high level of literacy, numeracy and administrative skills together with well-developed communication skills both verbal and written
7. Have sound knowledge and understanding of the CQC Compliance standards and the desire and commitment to achieve high standards of safeguarding
