Job summary We are looking for an enthusiastic motivated and experienced Registered General Nurse to join our friendly and supportive semi-rural practice. The candidate must have experience in the management of respiratory chronic disease. Experience in childhood immunisation and cytology would be beneficial and previous employment in Primary Care would be desirable. 25.5 hours per week Main duties of the job To provide and maintain a high standard of nursing care for patients as well as providing nursing assistance to the doctors and other members of the primary healthcare team. The duties will include all tasks normally undertaken by an experienced RGN and in addition any roles agreed between the nurse and the doctors as appropriate, having regard to current training / regulations. About us We are a dynamic, supportive training practice. The clinical team currently consists of 6 GPs (2 GP Partners), a nurse practitioner, practice nurses and HCAs. We have an excellent team of dispensers, receptionists and administrative staff. We are members of the North Cornwall Coast Primary Care Network and work very closely with our neighbouring practices providing a Social Prescriber, Mental Health Care Practitioners, Pharmacist, Paramedic and First Contact Physiotherapist.
