Assistant Management Accountant
Location: Permanent - Appleton Thorn
About Our Client
Our client is a world leader in the electronics industry, with their head office based in Appleton Thorn, Warrington. Due to continued growth plans over the next 12 months, they are seeking a new permanent Assistant Management Accountant to join their team of 10 in the AMA/MA department.
Job Description
1. Completion of daily banking and daily cash reporting
2. Processing journals and supplier recharges
3. Processing Weekly Payroll
4. Balance sheet reconciliations
5. Inter-company invoicing/invoice booking and intercompany account reconciliation
6. Support with ERP improvement projects
7. Support with the integration of acquisitions to the business's systems and processes
8. Support the wider Continuous Improvement program, e.g., automation, simplification, enhancing reporting and processes
9. Support for the Finance team with ad hoc reporting and processing as required
The Successful Applicant
1. Strong communication skills with experience of communicating at a number of levels
2. Ability to work as part of a team offering support and guidance when necessary
3. Stakeholder/expectations management
4. Ability to show initiative and work independently when necessary
5. Continuous improvement focus particularly in analysis of system development opportunities
6. Experience of working in a high-volume transactional environment
7. Ability to work to regular month/quarter end deadlines with multiple outputs
8. Experience of working with Navision ERP/Oracle and Power BI desirable
9. Intermediate level Excel skills
