The Resourcing Liaison Team that you will be a part of are at the heart of the resourcing area and act as the main point of contact into the area for Civilian HR (Civ HR) and key stakeholders, both internal and external to Defence Bisoness Services (DBS) and Ministry of Defence, cascading appropriate communications to the wider resourcing teams accordingly.
They act as lead for implementing new initiatives as well as co-ordinating several administrative activities on behalf of resourcing and provide advice and guidance on recruitment and onboarding activities as well as policy interpretation in consultation with Civ HR.
Your role as Resourcing Liaison Manager is a key role within the Civilian People Services team and is fast paced, varied, and demanding, providing you with the opportunity to develop yourself and others in a broad range of topics.
To deliver in the role, you will need a willingness to work flexibly across DBS to ensure overall team success, a proactive and positive approach to changing demands and personal resilience to respond to conflicting priorities.
As you will be acting as representative for resourcing at regular meetings, it is essential that you are able to work and make sound decisions independently.
Key outputs and responsibilities of the post include (but are not limited to):
Dealing with MyHR related queries (including future releases/updates)
Issuing Resourcing Info Notices to implement and communicate new initiatives/changes to policy where applicable
Position Matching (NHS) – subject to training
Nationality responses in accordance with Home Office Immigration rules and the Civil Service nationality rules
Focal point for policy queries
Monthly update meetings with Ops Managers and Civ HR
Civil Service Commissioners quarterly returns
Overseeing mismatches, identifying and addressing trends
Contract management with the relevant policy leads
Regular liaison with resourcing trainers to ensure materials are always up to date
