About the role To provide professional, comprehensive and flexible secretarial and administrative support to the Group Financial Controller (GFC) as well as two senior leaders, to maximise their contribution of effective leadership. Also, including providing holiday cover for the GFC PA’s. Based in our Strand office, the Group Financial Controller reports directly to the Executive Director Group Finance. Key Accountabilities • Effectively manage the Group Financial Controller’s calendar for meetings and appointments. • Plan and coordinate all accommodation and travel arrangements, including UK and overseas travel. • Coordinate executive meetings, conferences and large-scale events for senior leaders. • Act as the point of contact for general enquires on behalf of the Group Financial Controller as appropriate. • Manage all correspondence on behalf of the Group Financial Controller, reviewing and prioritising all communications, delegating where appropriate and drafting responses. • Organise 1-1 meetings with the respective team members. • Attend meetings and provide secretarial duties, including preparing presentations. About you • Substantial Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant experience supporting at C-Suite level. • Highly organised, pro-active and able to prioritise workload to ensure effectiveness. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail. • Can work efficiently under tight deadlines, whilst ensuring an element of flexibility to meet changing demands. • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information discreetly. • Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills. • Can build relationships and networks with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including communicating at senior levels within the organisation. • Commercially astute and aware of the broader business picture. • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. What you'll get A competitive salary between £38,000 – £47,000 – dependent on capability As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus of up to 10% of your salary for stretch performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
