Warehouse Manager - Wisbech - Attractive salary
Working hours are normal office hours - Mon - Friday - no weekends!
ALH Recruitment are looking to recruit a Warehouse Manager with immediate effect for our client based close to Wisbech, in Cambridgeshire.
Warehouse Manager Role
Customer Management experience advantageous for this position:
1. To retain full responsibility and ensure effective running of the Warehouse operation, including overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of all products.
2. Management of the people, processes, and systems to make sure productivity targets are met.
3. Overseeing the maintenance of Warehouse and labour-management systems to achieve own accountabilities and optimum operational performance.
Experience:
1. Proven experience of working within a Warehouse and distribution management role with a mature professional approach, having the confidence to communicate and deal with all levels of people, both internally and externally, up to and including director level.
2. Strong historical career in Management / Leadership.
3. Proven strong Influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Excellent numerical skills and a sound understanding and management of budgets.
5. Excellent organisational and planning skills working on your own or within a team.
6. Confidence to present to an audience, including briefings to employees and customers and delivery of financial updates to the Board members.
7. PC literate - Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Warehouse Management and Transport systems or similar web-based systems.
8. Have the ability to think quickly on your feet and to confidently make decisions. Be flexible in your approach to work and hours.
9. Full driving license – with the potential to travel to other sites or customer locations.
