The Role
You will be responsible for meeting the company standard operating procedures for destruction and shredding. You will also be responsible for daily activity within the destruction centre, assisting the drivers with loading and unloading vehicles and ensuring that strict deadlines are met whilst keeping within the company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out inbound destruction/shredding tasks as per SOP’s.
Comply with daily maintenance and safety checks of the Destruction Centre equipment.
Maintain assigned working areas (floors free of debris, notify Ops Manager/RC Supervisor of needed flooring/lighting repairs required).
Help unload/load trucks/vans.
To maintain a high level of productivity with the ability to achieve targets set.
Comply with all relevant data protection legislation to ensure our clients and team members’ sensitive and personal information is protected and processed in accordance with the law.
Adhere to all company policies and complete all mandatory training modules.
Report any potential or actual security, environmental or health and safety incidents to your line manager and / or the OASIS Compliance team as soon as you become aware of them.
Candidate Requirements
Ability to perform overhead reaching, routine, pushing and pulling boxes and pallet trucks, bending, and stretching.
Strong attention to detail essential.
Problem solving skills.
Being able to work to time sensitive deadlines.
Work in line with health and safety regulations/guidelines in accordance with site and company policies.
To be able to work in a small busy team within a fast-paced environment.
Punctual.
Must be capable of working to their own initiative.
