You will be part of the IT Service Management team within our Service Management Office and will be working alongside our Services Catalogue Manager and Service Validation and Transition Manger. Your primary purpose is to work seamlessly across these two disciplines to drive continual service improvements to the processes, governance and data quality standards. Your key duties: Own, organise and maintain the Service catalogue and Service Acceptance processes within the organisation in partnership with the other managers. Understanding and managing stakeholder relationships. Continually improving the service catalogue structure, automation, and views effectively integrating the service catalogue into value streams. Acts as co-ordination point for any changes to Service acceptance licences. Analyses and reviews Service Performance. Effectively cooperating with other teams and roles. Continually drive improvements to the processes. Person specification Proven understanding and experience in managing and evolving governance and process management within an organisation, supported by a solid grasp of the IT Service Management framework (We're experts by nature). Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team (Were better together). Experience of excellent organisational skills and the ability to personally manage a high workload and conflicting priorities. Initiative and ownership in establishing quality standards that align with customer and user needs, with a focus on continual improvement in service delivery (We keep evolving). Knowledge of data quality, data management and data structure in relation to business service information. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to influence others to achieve desired outcomes. As our Service Catalogue and Service Validation Manager, your total reward package will be up to £58,419 annually, which includes: £41,725 base pay. An outstanding Civil Service pension, with an average employer contribution of 28.97%. Recruitment Retention Allowance (RRA) you will be paid £3,600 per annum as a market supplement to reflect the demand for your skills. Whilst in post, you will be paid this market driven allowance from April 2024 until September 2025 in your monthly pay. Annual Leave starting at 27.5 days (plus Bank Holidays) rising to 32.5 days (plus Bank Holidays) after 5 years and option to buy or sell up to 5 days per year of annual leave.
