An opportunity has arisen for an empathetic Band 7 Occupational Therapist to be welcomed into our clients NHS inpatient service based in Birmingham, West Midlands. The role is available to start ASAP, and for an initial period of 3 months. The appointed Occupational Therapist will work autonomously across intermediate care, supporting discharges from the acute and the inpatient rehabilitation unit and respond to urgent care response calls. Applying therapists should have previous experience within intermediate care for this role. Position: Band 7 Community Occupational Therapist Hours: This position is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week Setting: Inpatient Location: Birmingham, West Midlands Dates: Immediate start until 25 December 2024 Pay: Competitive, to be discussed upon application To be considered for this role applying Occupational Therapists must have: Be HCPC registered as an Occupational therapist Hold a relevant qualification in Occupational therapy Previous NHS experience within an intermediate care setting The ability to build good rapport with patients Excellent interpersonal skills Duties within this role will include: Devising rehabilitation programmes to develop skills Writing clear and concise notes Working autonomously Dealing with equipment to assist with daily living Providing advice for carers and parents Why Pulse?
