We are in the process of acquiring a new Flexible Benefits platform, scheduled to launch in June this year. This initiative aims to enhance the employee experience by providing greater choice, flexibility, and accessibility in managing and selecting benefits. As part of our commitment to supporting employee wellbeing and engagement, the platform will serve as a key tool in delivering a modern, user-friendly benefits programme.
The Role
This newly created position will report to the Benefits Lead, and we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting the implementation and upkeep of our flexible benefits platform, ensuring employees have seamless access to a diverse range of benefits which are tailored to their needs. The ideal candidate will bring strong organisational skills, a solid understanding of employee benefits, and a genuine passion for enhancing the employee experience.
What will I be doing?
Flexible Benefits administration:
* Subject to timing, play a significant role in the interviewing and selection of the new flexible benefits partner for Pret; assessing potential vendors on their suitability for Pret and then working with the selected partner to implement the new system.
* Administer the day-to-day operations of the flexible benefits platform, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.
* Manage benefit enrolments, changes, and terminations within deadlines and compliance guidelines.
* Act as the main point of contact for employee enquiries regarding benefits.
Employee Support:
* Provide clear and timely communication about benefit offerings, enrolment processes, and deadlines.
* Assist employees with navigating the benefits platform and resolving any issues.
* Support with informational sessions and workshops to promote understanding of benefit options.
Data Management and Reporting:
* Maintain accurate records of benefit enrolments and ensure compliance with GDPR.
* Generate regular and ad hoc reports to support decision-making and compliance requirements e.g. National minimum wage.
* Monitor benefits usage to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
General Benefits administration:
* Oversee and manage the end-to-end recognition process for all shops and support centre.
* Oversee and manage the loyalty award process for shops and support centre.
* Raising purchase orders and processing invoices for benefits vendors.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about their work, with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You should be adept at managing deadlines, prioritising tasks, have Excel skills and a sharp eye for detail. Whilst prior experience of working within benefits/payroll is not a requirement, any exposure would be favourably considered.
