Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking for the next exciting step in your career, or a Clinical Director passionate about leading a highly respected and long-established practice? At Purovets, we have the perfect role for you!
Our client, a well-established two-site practice located in Staffordshire and Warwickshire, is seeking a Clinical Director to lead both practices and their exceptional teams. As the Clinical Director, you will oversee the overall leadership, driving clinical services, commercial performance, and team development. With a deep commitment to delivering the best possible service and outcomes for patients, clients, and associates, your role will be dynamic and varied. You will line manage the lead vets and senior leadership team, while also engaging in clinical work, including in-patient care, surgery, and consultations. This will give you the opportunity to maintain case continuity and develop strong relationships with your wonderful clients.
Both practices are RCVS accredited, with one serving as a registered Veterinary Nurse Training Practice, and both have been awarded silver status by the ISFM. Established over 100 years ago, these practices are situated in lovely market towns just 15 minutes from Birmingham. Whether you prefer the bustling city or the tranquil countryside, both options are easily accessible, and Birmingham airport is only 30 minutes away.
Our client is proud of its close-knit, supportive team, with the majority of members boasting over 20 years of service. The team includes nine Veterinary Surgeons, with one holding a certificate in Ophthalmology and three others working toward certificates in surgery and emergency and critical care (ECC). Professional development is highly valued, and our client actively invests in the growth of their associates.
The practices see a varied caseload, ranging from routine primary care services to more advanced procedures such as orthopaedic surgery, laparoscopic spay and biopsy, soft tissue surgery, eye, heart, and skin treatments, arthritis management, and cancer treatment. Primarily caring for cats and dogs, the practice also occasionally treats small furries and the odd chicken, ensuring no two days are ever the same. They also offer referral services in ophthalmology.
