Job Title: Social Worker (Children)

Working Hours: Hybrid
Rate : £35 per hour
Liquid Personnel are currently recruiting for a registered and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join a busy team in Barnsley, based within the Child Protection Team.
Responsibilities:
You will provide assessment, care management and social work services to children and their families, arising out of the council’s duties and powers under legislation, Council and Group policy. As a Qualified Social Worker, your primary responsibilities will include promoting and modeling effective working arrangements with mental health services and other voluntary and community partners to support care-experienced young people. You will develop a good understanding of evidence-based practice and integrate models of best practice into day-to-day service delivery. Participation in clinical supervision, clinical risk assessing, and liaising with mental health services across different boroughs/areas will be essential. Additionally, you will bring together, develop, and regularly review a multi-agency Pathway Plan with the young person and proactively work with them to achieve their targets.

Further Information:
Child Protection Social Workers need to understand and integrate into practice the key polices of the council in relation to social care with children and families, especially multi-disciplinary working, integration, and whole family approaches.
What we are looking for in a Qualified Social Worker:

6. Eligible to work in the UK
7. Hold a full UK license
8. Post-qualified experience
9. Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
