This is an exciting time to be joining the team as we prepare to implement the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020 which will change the disclosure system to support people previously involved in offending behaviour to move on whilst strengthening our focus on protecting the most vulnerable people. As one of three Operational Delivery Trainers, you will form part of the Training structure within the Safeguarding Operations Team and will be responsible for quality assurance and continuous improvement of all processes. The post covers a wide range of duties including providing training on internal and external customer service. Responsibilities Responsibilities Developing and delivering operational training packages (new starts, refresher and upskilling). Adapting the approach to training to support remote learning. Reviewing and evaluating training delivered and learning materials to identify and implement improvements. Updating guidance material in-line with training delivered and to incorporate operational, digital and legislative changes. Engaging with relevant business areas to capture training requirements due to changes. Supporting the team in implementing a training framework to support operational delivery and developing a schedule to meet this. Supporting operational delivery teams with business critical priorities as required. Acting as a role model and providing regular feedback on a range of issues offering support and guidance when necessary. Demonstrating, identifying and managing changes to policy and processes efficiently and constructively.
