Lenovo is the Number 1 Supercomputing provider in the world. Our Global HPC Professional services team fosters an environment that encourages entrepreneurism and ownership.
We are looking for a seasoned storage-focused HPC Consultant to join our Global HPC Professional Services team, primarily supporting customers in the EMEA region. You will participate in collaborative planning calls and meetings.
You are expected to provide onsite technical services in Lenovo Storage platforms, HPC & AI solutions, designing and implementing HPC solutions with a strong focus on Storage technologies, Network, Power and Cooling, OS, and cluster management.
This role is open to Bulgaria, Germany, Romania, and the United Kingdom.
What You Will Do:
* Implement and deliver HPC Cluster, Storage, and AI solution services around Lenovo products
* Perform solution optimization, migration, and upgrade strategies
* Operate on-site (includes travel) or remotely
* Work collaboratively with the hardware sales team, technical sales (presales) team, and Business Partners on a billable basis
* Travel to client sites as required for project implementation and support
What We Expect from You:
* Strong focus on Storage technology – design, deployment, and configuration
* Proven track record in Data Management including encryption, backup, and recovery in HPC environments
* Strong understanding of networking concepts relevant to HPC storage, including InfiniBand, Ethernet, and RDMA
* Ability to optimize storage performance, including tuning and troubleshooting
You Have Experience With:
* HPC storage clustered/distributed/parallel filesystems and scale-out storage technologies such as GPFS, Lustre, Ceph, BeeGFS, WEKA
* Storage migration methods and DSS-G storage products
* Ethernet, InfiniBand, and OPA network technologies
* Experience in Linux (Suse, RHEL & CentOS) and HPC system troubleshooting
