Join a financial services client to lead the Human Resources and Recruitment departments, ensuring each team meets its business objectives. This role primarily supports the development and implementation of key HR and Recruitment projects in 2025, including: Relocating an office for approximately 500 employees. Sourcing and implementing a new HRIS. Managing the SMCR project from an HR and Recruitment perspective. Developing an apprenticeship scheme. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment and Selection Organisational Development and Planning Compliance with Employment Legislation HR Policy Development and Documentation Employee Relations Organisational Culture, Morale, and Motivation Employee Welfare and Health, Support, and Counselling Employee Communication Compensation, Rewards, and Benefits Employee Onboarding and Development Performance Management and Improvement Systems Coaching and Succession Planning Leadership: Oversee HR and Recruitment departments, ensuring high standards. Identify opportunities for improvement and process change. Support the development of the HR Manager and Recruitment Manager. Employment Legislation: Ensure compliance with employment legislation while maintaining a commercial approach. Protect the interests of employees and the company in line with HR policies, employment law, and FCA/PRA/IOMFSA regulations. Stay updated on contemporary employment law and HR policies, making necessary updates. Provide interpretation and guidance to managers and staff. Develop and maintain employee documentation in line with current legislation.
