Business Support Administrator
Waverley Court/Hybrid
Salary: £25,322 - £27,727
Hours: 36 per week
We are looking for a Business Support Administrator to join our team to provide comprehensive and flexible business support across the organisation.
The Business Support Administrator will provide note taking support at statutory and HR related meetings as well as general business support to our service users.
You will require excellent note taking skills, and be able to provide notes that are accurate, clear and comprehensive within deadlines.
You will require a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and you will require experience in data entry and word processing.
You will require experience of working in a busy office environment using relevant technology and equipment and a good understanding of general office procedures.
The post will involve dealing with internal and external customers of the Council, therefore you should have excellent customer care skills.
You will require good organisation skills, be able to personally observe strict confidentiality, the ability to prioritise your own workload, to use your initiative in day-to-day tasks and the ability to participate as a team member.
You should have effective written and oral communication skills and a flexible approach to meet the needs and demands of the service.
The Business Support Administrator will have no direct line management responsibility.
The post will be based at Waverley Court; however, the role may require the successful candidate to work at any Council location.
The working hours are Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 17:00 and 08:30 to 15:55 on Fridays, the role is subject to flexible working arrangements and hybrid working.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
