Role Purpose:
Reporting to the Data Integrity Manager, the Data Integrity Assistant is responsible for ensuring that the data we keep about our learners and their learning is complete and accurate and, in particular, they take responsibility for the data related to our contract with the Student Loans Company (SLC) for our learners funded in this way. This allows us to effectively manage our resources, ensure proper accountability and to ensure we are claiming the appropriate amount of funding from the government bodies that fund the learning we provide.
Key Responsibilities:
·Preparing information for the Data Integrity Manager to review by rolling forward spreadsheets and compiling information from reports.
·Understanding the SLC portal and processing changes in learner data where necessary.
·Reviewing KPI’s related to our contract with the SLC such as success rates.
·Reviewing changes to funding rules and providing feedback to the wider team on the implications of any changes.
·Ensuring that calculations and tools provided to operational staff are in line with the latest version of funding rules and are being implemented correctly.
·Supporting operational staff by responding to queries around data and regulatory requirements.
·To provide weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports to the senior management team as required.
·To undertake specific wider business projects as required.
Skills and Experience required:
Essential
·Confidence to make decisions and willingness to take responsibility for work tasks and quality of completion
·Ability to manage your own workload and to motivate yourself to meet deadlines including when working from home, this will include reporting to the Data Integrity Manager on work tasks.
·Comfortable using MS Excel package (more advanced training will be provided if required).
·The ability to clearly communicate both in writing and orally, including providing challenge and feedback in a constructive way.
·Attention to detail.
·Ability to work in a team and support colleagues to achieve shared objectives.
Desirable
·Knowledge of Apprenticeships funding rules
·Knowledge of Advanced Learner Loans funding rules
