Our client is seeking a Head of Marketing to join their team.
Role Profile: The core purpose of this role is to define, lead the development, execution and communication of a comprehensive Communication Plan and integrated engagement strategies that build awareness, create engagement opportunities, drive customer and revenue growth and enhance the brand in the markets the business operates in.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the development and delivery of inspiring and impactful through the line marketing campaigns to drive awareness, create engagement and support delivery of the consumer and business segment acquisition and revenue targets.
2. Own the 12 month rolling calendar of marketing activity and its execution, ensuring all communications plans are consistent, driving sales and growing brand equity across all areas of marketing including Digital, Social, CRM, and PR.
3. Define brand strategy and a roadmap for driving brand differentiation and leadership amongst all business and consumer segments, and employer brand across all markets. Build a consistent branded experience across all internal and external communications touchpoints.
4. Drive post-campaign evaluation of communication campaigns and communicate performance internally. Implement learnings to ensure optimization of communications.
5. Own the strategic selection, management, and performance oversight of external creative, PR, and digital agencies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and marketing goals.
6. Oversee reactive and issues management PR alongside key senior stakeholders. Ensuring the PR agency deliver the best quality outputs and maintain positive brand perceptions in each market.
7. Lead and develop your team to deliver excellent communications across all channels and in all markets.
8. Manage the communications marketing budget and maximise the return on investment.
9. Understand and comply with the licence and other regulatory rules, Data Protection Law applying to the position.
10. Understand and comply with the Health and Safety responsibilities relevant to the role as defined in the Safety Policy.
11. Work in accordance with the safety procedures and safe working policies.
12. Undertake appropriate security awareness training covering information security, data protection, financial crime and payment card data and comply with their information security responsibilities.
Key Skills & Experience:
1. Minimum 5 years marketing / communications experience and 3 years' experience in a similar role in a related sector.
2. Good understanding of telecoms products, in consumer and business segments.
3. Excellent understanding of commercial strategies, objectives and ability to articulate link between desired outcomes and marketing strategies.
4. Demonstrable track record of developing brand and product marketing strategies on a long-term basis in consumer and/or business segments.
5. Proven track record in campaign management, measurement, and development.
6. Knowledge and experience of leveraging digital communication channels and techniques.
7. Experience of managing external creative agencies.
8. Ability to effectively manage and motivate internal marketing teams across different locations.
9. Tertiary qualification in marketing.
10. Due to the nature of this position, the postholder must hold a satisfactory Basic Police Disclosure.
