Underwriting Assistant
Salary of £30,000 to £35,000 / London

If so, we currently have a fantastic Underwriting Assistant opportunity, which will give you exposure to our exciting Cargo, Fine Art & Specie, Construction, Renewable Energy and Accident and Health classes of business!
A bit about the job:
In this role you will support the underwriting process by administering accurate and timely logging of data onto the relevant systems, prior to passing over to our data entry team and help maintain all user defined databases for our underwriting unit. You will also assist in the resolution of all transactional data management issues (cash allocations / debtors signings management) within SLAs and support various month close procedures as directed.
You will be a point of contact for liaison with third-party data processing team and administer document management processes to correct standards. As the Underwriting Assistant, you will also anticipate the needs of, and provide underwriting support service in a timely manner to, the wider Underwriting team.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
* Prior exposure to working in an Insurance business - i.e. in an entry level claims, customer or underwriting role etc.
* Outgoing personality and flexible attitude to completing admin / data-entry tasks
* Ability to use your initiative, matched with strong communication skills
* Team player mentality
* Excellent attention to detail as well as strong IT skills

* Annual salary of £30,000 to £35,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
