Success Recruit are currently working with a well-established accountancy practice, looking for a Part-Time Receptionist / Administrator, who will become an integral member of the front of house team. The successful Part-Time Receptionist / Administrator will be responsible for front of house duties, administration, and adhoc marketing tasks, alongside two other receptionists. The Part-Time Receptionist / Administrator will be expected to: Demonstrate excellent written & verbal communication skills, accompanied with strong attention to detail and organisation Have at least 1-2 years’ experience working in an office environment Work effectively within a team The Part-Time Receptionist / Administrator will be rewarded with: Being part of a very well-established company 20 days holiday bank hols Group Pension Scheme & Medical Insurance Scheme after 2 full year’s employment Flexibility around starting hours (as long as reception is covered) Job Specification Purpose of the role: The purpose of the Part-Time Receptionist / Administrator will be to assist with the smooth-running of the practice – consistently ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere is created for each member of staff and client who visits the office. The ideal candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude, and enjoy working in a close-knit team where each member supports one another. There will be some marketing duties involved, so an interest / experience in this area is also beneficial. Duties will include: Welcoming clients and staff members into the practice Using outlook to organise internal meetings Providing drinks and replenishments during meetings Answering inbound telephone calls and responding promptly to emails / enquiries for the business Handling post – ensuring delivery to the appropriate recipient, as well as franking Scanning documents and filing via portal Taking minutes during committee meetings Typing & finalising letters Taking responsibility for maintaining a tidy office space and kitchen, as well as keeping on top of ordering kitchen and stationary supplies Adhoc marketing responsibilities – editing & sending out newsletters, monitoring attendees for events and generally assisting with the organisation of events (network functions, team socials, and sponsored events) Other administrative duties to support the wider team when required Previous experience in a receptionist / admin position is not essential as full training will be provided; however, this individual will require strong people skills, professionalism, and a natural desire to help. Salary: £24K equiv. (3 days) Hours: 3 days per week (option for Monday/Thursday/Friday OR Wednesday/Thursday/Friday). Flexible start time offered from 8am – 9am, with finish between 4:15pm – 5:15pm.
