My reputable global client is looking for a Production Operatives to joins its Team in Aldershot on a full-time basis of 37.5 hours per week for a Monday to Friday 06.00 to 14.00 hrs or 14:00 to 22:00 shift. About you: Whilst previous experience within a manufacturing process operation is preferred and will be an advantage, but full training will be provided to develop the necessary skills for this role. It is expected that Production Operative will be able to train in multiple areas providing a multi-skilled and flexible team. The key responsibilities will include: Operating machines within the production General manual handling Basic computer tasks Understanding as well as an appreciation of both Health & Safety and Quality The ideal candidate will be: Minimum Grade 4 (or equivalent) in English and Maths Able to prioritize workload to achieve deadlines A good team player able to work as part of a crew and on their own Have good attention to detail Good communication skills, both written and verbal Willing to learn new skills Key requirements of this role include the ability to; Follow health and safety policies and procedures and be proactive in supporting a positive health and safety culture; Adhere to defined procedures and performance standards to ensure operations are compliant with the required quality standards to meet customer requirements; Participate in proactive problem-solving exercises to address any issues impacting production; Communicate with all team members to ensure that a high-quality handover takes place; Understand basic numerical data required to operate to the required production standards; Work well on own initiative and as a member of various teams within the Operations function.
