As a Risk Manager, you’ll deliver the Risk duties in accordance with the strategic direction of the business. You’ll assist the
organisation to optimise processes to be more efficient and effective, providing guidance on regulatory matters and ensure
delivery of fair outcomes and have a ‘Customer First’ mentality. It’s key to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF OUR RISK MANAGER
* Providing effective analysis of risk data across the organisation
* Influence behaviour and drive risk cultural and embed effective risk management frameworks
* To support the Leadership teams, leading and advising on risk management strategic/design intent
* Executing appropriate risk management over processes
* Manage both internal and external audit activity
* Ensure that the business performs within its regulatory permissions
* Monitor performance of the business in providing good outcomes.
SKILLS OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
* Previous risk management or audit experience
* Considerations and experience of end-to-end risk management
* Ability to work collaboratively across the organisation bringing key stakeholders together
* Ability to take ownership of risk management
* Ability to evidence prioritisation, decision making and problem solving skills
* Ability to influence people, including key stakeholders
* Agile, supportive and engaging
* Awareness of industry and market in which it operates Influencing and persuasion
* Educated to A level standard, preferably with a relevant risk qualification
