Senior Property Risk Manager

We’re working with a Pan European PERE Property client to hire a Senior Property Risk Manager to help reduce the cost of property insurance claims, safeguard their assets/buildings, and support their clients’ businesses.
The Senior Property Risk Manager will play an important part in advancing their Environmental, Social, and Governance goals. This is an opportunity to make a real impact by designing and driving improvement programmes that benefit the business, colleagues, customers, and insurers.
Salary offered is negotiable (circa £100,000 base plus bonus and benefits including pension).

Key Responsibilities:
* Work with insurers, brokers, colleagues, and property managers to manage risk engineering inspections and act on recommendations.
* Investigate claims trends and share insights that improve processes.
* The Senior Property Risk Manager will develop clear, practical risk-reduction standards and provide training to raise awareness.
* Support construction and development teams to ensure insurance and risk controls are handled effectively.
* Visit key sites to strengthen local risk control efforts.
* Look for opportunities to cut the cost of claims and premiums for the business/clients.
* The Senior Property Risk Manager will contribute to wider risk management activities, such as health and safety initiatives and business continuity plans.
Ideal Experience and Qualifications:
* Relevant education, ideally to degree level or with professional qualifications (e.g. CII, IRM, IOSH/NEBOSH).
* The Senior Property Risk Manager will have demonstrable experience in Property insurance risk roles like engineering or loss control - preferably within a Pan European setting.
* Strong technical knowledge in risk control, fire protection, modern construction materials, and fire codes.
* Proficiency with IT tools and handling large datasets.
* A team-oriented, problem-solving mindset with a can-do attitude.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence others to manage property risks.
* Bonus points for a second European language!
