We are looking for a data analyst to become part of the Halton and Warrington service teams. You will work alongside the respective service Quality Assurance Leads and Services managers in overseeing the production, collection, and analyses of performance data across the services. As a Data Analyst, you will hold responsibility for overseeing the efficient collection, inputting and recording of all data, including the preparation and analysis of statistical data and reports as required by the Management Team.
You will be integral to driving up quality management and service performance through the production of statistical reports on performance and support delivery to commissioned targets. The post holder will be responsible for analysing and reporting back on the information held on local and central databases and provide timely and accurate data for external and internal stakeholders and supporting staff to make best use of recording and data inputting facilities and processes.

Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week
Full Time Salary Range: £30,134.90 - £34,214.21 dependent on experience, (based on full time hours, pro rata for part time hours)
Contract: 6 month fixed term contract from start date
What You’ll Do
Key Activities:
* To use data that contributes to service user safety and maximise outcomes.
* To produce reporting for external audiences (including commissioners).
* To produce regular and ad hoc data, analysis and reporting for internal requirements.
* Be part of ongoing quality improvement, connecting with resources such as central data and quality teams and using centrally produced information.
* Ensure that data and recording requirements for the service are fulfilled.
* Use data to monitor progress of the project against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Ensure that the quality and accuracy of data capture and reporting is consistently high by undertaking audits and producing and implementing data action plans.
* Maintain regular contact with the national data team, via the Regional Data Business Partner, attending local and national meetings and forums as relevant.

What We’re Looking For
As a Data Analyst, you will have:
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
* Experience of maintaining information systems.
* Experience of managing large datasets and analysis.
* Experience of developing data processes and systems.
* Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
* Experience of contributing to project development.
* Highly IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
* Experience of delivering technical training.
* Previous experience of working with NDTMS.
* Knowledge of the management of data in health and social care sectors, including substance misuse.
