Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field-Based Business Development & Client Relationship Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and driving sales growth across North Wales and Northwest England. This role requires a proactive, approachable and organised individual with excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities: Research and identify potential clients, partners, and markets to expand our customer base.
2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with kitchen showrooms, interior designers, builders merchants and housing developers.
3. Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and objectives.
4. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential market changes.
5. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit margins while also ensuring client satisfaction.
6. Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, performance analysis and general feedback for senior management.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with the internal sales and logistics teams to ensure client requirements are met and projects are completed to the highest standards.
8. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and address client enquiries and concerns promptly.
9. Products & Samples: Regularly perform stock-take so that all traders have the most current and up to date samples of our own range of quartz and porcelain products.
Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management – knowledge of the stone industry is desirable but not essential, as full training will be given to the right candidate.
Skills Required:
1. Existing understanding of the stone fabrication industry and its products or ability and willingness to learn quickly.
2. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
5. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Willingness to travel extensively within North Wales, Wirral, Cheshire, Manchester, Shropshire, Chester, and Liverpool.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
