The Role - SEN TA:
In this role as an SEN TA, you will be supporting primary aged students with severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties, many of whom have a secondary diagnosis of ASD. The students require a specialist knowledge of complex learning difficulties, so ideally you have worked as an SEN TA in a PMLD school. Experience working in an ASD school with an understanding that the needs will be more challenging will also be acceptable.
The School - SEN School:
Based in the Hounslow area of West London, this 198 pupil SEN school provides specialist education to primary aged children with PMLD (and ASD in some cases). The school is rated 'Good' by OFSTED and is located a short distance away from a train station, making it easily reachable by those who rely on public transport.
