Days Role - Monday - Friday
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical / Control Engineer to join the engineering team at an esteemed UK manufacturing company who supply a unique portfolio of world-class products in the paper and film sector.
As Maintenance Control Engineer your responsibilities will include:
1. Carrying out effective fault finding and modification of industrial control systems in a process manufacturing environment
2. Write and develop PLC programs for new and existing systems
3. Routine software backups of PLC systems, drives and panel views
4. Control panel build and replacement controls for obsolescent equipment
5. Working closely with Technicians to understand key issues and implement improvement initiatives
6. Ensure all documentation is up to date and stored correctly
7. Support continuous improvement initiatives and drive improvement of department KPI's
Requirements:
1. Time Served Electrical Engineer / Control Engineer (HNC/HND/Degree)
2. Strong technical knowledge of complex electrical systems, PLC's, Drives, Control Systems, Networks
3. Data driven and results focused
4. Analytical approach with great attention to detail
5. Leadership skills
6. Experience of working in a continuous process manufacturing environment
7. Pro-active mind-set
8. Good knowledge of H&S procedures
