DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES:
GeneralDuties:
· Management ofFood Safety and Quality management system and procedures.
· Ensure compliance with SALSA HACCP foodsafety organic standards legal compliance and customer requirementsof all products.
· Host and preparefor third party audits.
· Liaisingwith customers statutory bodies and external parties during auditsand visits.
· Conducting internalaudits according to schedule.
·Ensure strict food safety GMP and hygiene standards are implementedmaintained and adhered to.
· Addressany technical issues raised externally and internally
· Collaborate with crossfunctional teamsincluding production operations and purchasing to drive continuousimprovement and improve quality processes.
· Agree and maintain specifications withsuppliers to ensure consistency of products supplied.
· Investigate and resolve quality issuesnonconformances and customer complaints implementing corrective andpreventive actions as necessary.
·Ensure agreed KPI’s are achieved.
· Keep up to date with legislative changes andtechnical developments.
· Managementand development of Quality Assurance Technician.
Essential Criteria:
· 5 years previous technical/ qualitymanagement experience in FMCG / Food Manufacturingenvironment
· Level 3 HACCP
· Level 3 Food Safety
· Internal Auditing qualification
· Third level Food related qualification e.g.in food science food technology or related sciencesubject.
· Excellent leadershipskills with ability to manage a variety of cross functional teammembers.
· Fluent in English withexcellent communication skills across a variety of media– verbal & written with the ability to workeffectively with crossfunctional teams and externalstakeholders.
· Competent in problemsolving team building planning and decision making.
· Good planning organizational and timemanagement skills.
· Passion fordelivering excellent customer service.
· Good general computer skills including the MSOffice suite of tools.
Desirable:
· Level 4 Food Safety
· Level 4 HACCP
