The Job
1. You will be the main point of contact for incoming and outgoing goods and have responsibility for the stores area, maintaining an organised and tidy environment.
2. Process goods received and despatch of products.
3. Maintain good organisation within stores and accurately record on the SAP systems.
4. Liaise with customers and couriers directly regarding the delivery of goods.
5. Organise delivery requirements for outgoing goods, complete calculations for weights and dimensions, and order packaging.
6. General housekeeping.
About You
1. Experience of working in an engineering environment, moving heavy components.
2. Excellent computer skills.
3. Good understanding of computer-based stores systems.
4. FLT licence.
5. Good organisation skills.
Due to retirement, the company is looking for an experienced stores and despatch person to join a busy stores department for an established engineering company in Rochdale.
Hours of work: Monday - Thursday 09:30 am to 18:00 pm, Friday 09:30 am to 2:00 pm. Must have flexibility to work outside these hours if required.
