At Pennyhill, we are committed to ensuring every child reaches their full potential, no matter their background or challenges. We are now looking for a Child & Family Support Worker to join our nurturing and inclusive school community.
What does this role involve?
As our Child & Family Support Worker, you will:
1. Provide emotional and practical support to children and families, particularly during difficult times.
2. Strengthen home-school relationships by offering guidance, regular communication, and outreach support.
3. Help to remove barriers to learning by providing support to children and families.
4. Work directly with children in the classroom and small groups to support their social, emotional, and academic development.
5. Organise and deliver engaging workshops, coffee mornings, and parent/carer support sessions to strengthen school-home relationships.
6. Offer early intervention strategies, signposting families to appropriate services and ensuring they feel supported.
7. Work closely with teachers, SEND teams, and external agencies to provide holistic support for our pupils.

* Confidence in delivering workshops and parent engagement activities.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with children, families, and staff.

Salary: Band D, SCP 9 - 17 (£26,409 - £30,060 per annum) Pro Rata: £18,146.60 - £20,667.60
