Job summary This is an exciting time to join our amazing team in Children's Services as Junior Sister/Charge Nurse within our Children's Unit in Ipswich Hospital. You will need excellent communication and management skills and the ability to manage resources efficiently. Applicants need an awareness of the importance of continuous service improvement through research and evidence based practice to consistently deliver a high standard of care and deliver a service that meets the current demands of our patients. Our Senior nurses will work together to coordinate the nursing staff and patient flow in the department and providing High Dependency Care for children who meet this criteria. Successful candidates will be part of the team rota and be expected to work long days rotating onto nights, weekends and bank holidays on a four-week rota basis.
