Come and join our rapidly growing PE department at Star Mirdif. With state-of-the-Art facilities, and more coming online, you will join a well-resourced and ambitious department. Star Mirdif competes across a variety of regional competitions, and you would be expected to bring success within your area of expertise.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Education : Relevant UK teaching qualification: minimum of a Bed. or BA/BSc + PGCE/QTS in PE
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of full-time teaching experience in a British curriculum school, either internationally or in the UK. The role will primarily focus on delivering outstanding PE provision at the primary level, with an emphasis on raising standards and developing fundamental movement skills. Candidates should demonstrate a passion for high-quality primary PE, the ability to inspire young learners, and a commitment to whole-school physical development. Flexibility to support PE delivery across other phases of the school is an advantage but not essential. Full swimming teaching training will be provided if required.
Whilst every effort has been made to explain the main duties and responsibilities of the post, each individual task undertaken may not be identified.
