My client is an interior design company that offers innovative andinspiring total solutions for working environments. They offer workplacesolutions for offices, schools & healthcare, with a focus on design,ergonomics & sustainability. Their reputation within the market isoutstanding.
Due to continued success they are now seekinga Project Manager based in Slough / West London area. You will be responsible for thesuccessful planning, executive, monitoring, control, and closure of all directand project deliveries.
What youwill do as a Project Manager:
*Oversee the weekly planning process to ensure all routes are optimised andmanpower resource properly allocated and briefed.
* Tosupport sales teams with internal and customer facing business winningactivities i.e. site surveys/ presentations, bid/tender support, labour costs.
* Tosupport Account Managers with knowledge and advice in their planning, managingand delivering of customer projects.
*Provide detailed installation costs for nonstandard orders. * Share the costimplications for ‘special’ site access with the sales team in order to recoverand manage costs being incurred.
* Planand manage all aspects of large or complex installations i.e. resourceplanning, cost control, reporting.
* Create and send PurchaseOrders for operational costs incurred.
* Communicate effectivelywith teams internally and externally (Logistics Planner, Installation Fitters,Operations support, Sales team, Designers and Customers)
* Communicate orderamendment requests i.e. moved installation dates and subsequent consequencesi.e. on manpower resources, 3rd party supplier / storage / re-delivery charges,and communicate when required to Sales and Customer.
*Responsible for Project Methodology in respect of all projects i.e. CDM sites,generic and specific site Risk Assessments & Method Statements.
*Responsible for Company H&S compliance on all CDM sites
* Tomanage the site access and site security requirements for all customers.Attending induction meetings to ascertain site requirements in order to engagethe customer deliveries.
*Responsible for the preparation and customer sign off of all ‘installationcontracts’ prior to commencement on site.
* Toengage with new product training – provide internal and external training fornew products.
* To support and cover forLogistics Planner activities as and when required.
* Tomaintain a professional attitude, building and maintaining relationships withinternal and external customers

Whatskills & qualifications you will need as a Project Manager:
·CITB Certified (Construction Site Supervisors Course) – Trainingwill be given
·CSCS Certified (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
·Prince 2 Certified (Training will be provided)
·A relevant H&S Qualification
