Peaple Talent has recently partnered with an organically growing consultancy firm based across the UK, hiring an IT Support Engineer to join a dynamic team in Newark-on-Trent. This full-time, onsite role involves providing 2nd line IT support while also assisting with 1st line support and IT administration TEAM
What You’ll Do:
IT Support and Troubleshooting:
* Manage incidents, service requests, and problems using Cherwell Service Desk.
* Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues from the 1st line team.
* Deliver basic application support and training to users.
Onsite and Regional Support:
* Provide onsite support to regional offices and enhance IT frameworks.
* Define stakeholder needs and implement support solutions.
* Manage site-specific IT projects, including office moves.
* Handle budget requirements for regional IT initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
Required Skills and Experience:
* Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT support role.
* Proven expertise in 2nd line IT support.
* Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and PC imaging software.
* Familiarity with Apple iPhone/iPad products.
Desirable Qualifications:
* ITIL certification is a plus.
* Experience mentoring junior team members.
* Knowledge of automation tools for efficiency improvements.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
