What the Job Involves The Policy and Projects Officer will manage specific improvement initiatives as directed by the Head of Service – Safeguarding, developing and maintaining performance reporting structures. Responsibilities include the development and implementation of quality assurance processes and performance frameworks to support the Adult and Children’s services departments. You will provide project management, policy development, and identification and implementation of solutions, along with monitoring outcomes. The role requires delivering presentations, training programs, and workshops, and attending meetings across the region. You will manage confidential data systems, oversee the work of staff and agency workers, ensuring accurate data is reported to inform decision-making by senior management, elected members, and regulatory bodies.
