Duration: 8 Weeks
Job location: Scarborough, ON
Responsibilities:
1. Directly works with youth under the supervision of the Youth Lead to help deliver program activities.
2. Ability to be empathetic and build trusting relationships with young people.
3. Organizes and oversees community programs aimed at diverse youth.
4. Facilitates gender-specific group sessions to raise awareness.
5. Provides support and social activities for youth, especially young people from visible minority groups.
Requirements:
1. University/college student or graduate.
2. Between the ages of 17 to 30.
3. Able to work 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday; remotely or onsite.
4. Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
6. Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment.
7. Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
