Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Sport Management within the School of Psychology, Sport and Health Sciences, the Faculty of Science and Health, University of Portsmouth. The purpose of this role is to work with colleagues and act as a team member to contribute to the delivery and design of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes responding to students’ needs as members of a teaching team.
Candidates should have a working knowledge of the broad area of sport management, but we are particularly interested in applicants who have expertise in one or more of the following areas:
* Sport event management
* Sport law
* Data analytics
* Sponsorship in Sport
The successful candidate would participate in teaching, scholarship, research/innovation in accordance with the School and Faculty objectives. They would actively seek to enhance the student experience and student employability and enterprise opportunities.
