Lifting Equipment Engineer (LEEA) HRG is currently assisting our client, a premium provider of lifting equipment solutions, in sourcing a full-time permanent Lifting Equipment Engineer / Inspector to join various locations including East Tilbury, Dartford,. Our client specializes in supplying high-quality lifting equipment to businesses across a wide range of industries, from construction to manufacturing, oil and gas to mining. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing, repairing, and inspecting various lifting equipment and accessories to LOLER standards at both company and client sites. (WE WILL SPEAK TO ANY CANDIADATES THAT HOLD LEEA QUALIFICATION) WE HAVE MULTIPLE OPENINGS NATIONWIDE Requirements: Ideally LEEA qualified or have significant relevant experience. Thorough understanding of LOLER regulations. Confident in liaising with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs. Full UK Driving License. Advanced LEEA qualifications (such as Lifting Machines Manual / Power) are desirable but not essential. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough examinations of a wide range of lifting and manual handling equipment and accessories at client sites and the company’s workshop, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and legislation. Produce clear and concise reports detailing all equipment examined, highlighting any defects or recommendations. Perform risk assessments and method statements as required. Adhere to safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Report any accidents, incidents, near misses, or potential problems with products, services, or systems according to company processes and procedures.
