Teaching Assistant / Library Assistant
Hours: 32.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 08:45 - 15:45)

Specialist Teaching Assistants will be allocated to areas where they will be responsible for supporting the class teacher in the teaching and welfare of children to ensure they attain the targets set under their individual educational programmes, dealing with pupils’ therapeutic, behavioural, and personal care needs.
The designated Teaching Assistant for the Library will assist the class teachers in promoting the school library to provide an efficient service to the students.
Are you:

* adaptable with a can-do attitude
* great at working in a team with the initiative to work independently to support children in achieving their best
* literate and numerate with exam passes to evidence this
* able to establish supportive, caring, and secure relationships with children, promoting respect, self-esteem, and a positive, inclusive whole school ethos
* able to lead intervention groups to support learning or any emotional, social, or behavioural needs of any children
* able to provide effective feedback to children and teachers, including appropriate marking and record keeping to support the learning process
