Business Change and Communications Manager
Cheltenham Contract Day rate: £526 - £631 Inside IR35
We're currently seeking an accomplished and highly ambitious Business Change and Communications Manager to work with our exceptional client, a world-class brand in a secure environment to drive major business improvement, transformation, and process change (both cultural and technical) across this complex organisation.
This contract role will require you to conduct security clearance prior to assignment. The opportunity is available in Gloucestershire and based onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the development and implementation of a Communications Strategy and Plan
2. Conduct strategic communications planning
3. Perform stakeholder analysis
4. Conduct communications needs analysis
5. Plan communications campaigns
6. Design communication channels
7. Assist with the development of the Strategy function's 'brand' and 'image'
8. Manage stakeholder/relationship management for communications service delivery
9. Organise Town Halls, Comms change network, and other initiatives
10. Manage engagement initiatives
11. Facilitate communications and engagement events
12. Compile Governance reporting and metrics
13. Circulate council papers for comment
14. Manage rolling programme of content for screens
15. Organise and run key events (e.g., roadshows, townhalls, workshops)
16. Draft high-level VTX content for briefings, bulletins, newsletters, and scripts
17. Maintain the transformation SharePoint sites and coordinate with content creators
18. Support workstreams with their communications plans
19. Align across BAU communications and broader departments
20. Design creative communications solutions for business change
Business Change Responsibilities:
1. Organise and run workshops and focus groups with staff
2. Help define the knowledge staff will require for business change
3. Develop and implement a range of business change activities
4. Review how well business change is being embedded
5. Plan and deliver communications that support business change
Organisational Communication:
1. Communicate project/programme progress and achievements
2. Lead coordinated communications efforts
3. Assist in developing product leaders' communications strategy
4. Deliver insights to the office and seniors on progress
