We're hiring an Apprentice People Administrator to join our People Team This role offers the opportunity to earn a Level 3 HR qualification while gaining hands-on experience. Upon completion, you'll also achieve associate membership of the CIPD. We specialise in sustainable water asset management solutions, delivering exceptional value outcomes in potable water, wastewater and the environment. Reporting to the People Partner, you will assist in all aspects of People administration throughout the entire employee lifecycle providing troubleshooting advice to all members of staff. • With support from the People Partner, become the first point of contact for all People related enquiries to provide generic advice and guidance on policy, procedures and processes, escalating appropriate where necessary • Effectively manage a generic email address in addition to your own • Review and produce documentation including offer letters, contracts, new starter paperwork, leavers’ letters and so on • Record and report on sickness absence • Respond to external requests for references for former members of staff • Create and maintain accurate People files • Organise Occupational Health Screening appointments • Scan, save and post all training certificates • Process starters, movers, and leavers • Support with administration of benefits, reward, and recognition • Assist with CV screening and interview booking • Keep track of probationary and development reviews for new starters, sending out reminders to line managers as appropriate • Support the Training and Talent Administrators when necessary • Undertake level 3 HR Apprenticeship standard We're seeking a proactive individual eager to start their career in HR. • Educated to GCSE level including passes in Maths and English • A good communicator, able to deal confidently with a variety of people face-to- face, in writing and on the telephone • Able to use own initiative to solve problems and complete daily tasks • Display a positive attitude and be committed to high levels of accuracy • Able to work flexibly in line with business requirements • Strong IT skills, in particular MS Word, Excel and Outlook • Proven planning and organisation skills with ability to prioritise workloads In return for your hard work, you will receive • Up to £21k per annum • Training and advancement opportunities • 24 days' paid holiday plus bank holidays • Healthcare cash scheme • Death in service benefit • Benefex Platform - voucher schemes that run throughout the year, including the Technology Scheme, Dental Plan, and the Bike Scheme. • Discounts on retail, shopping, gym access and cinema tickets • 6% company pension contribution To be the best water and environment sustainability specialist
