Job Title: Class 2 HGV Driver

Key Responsibilities
* Safely collect and deliver palletised freight using tail lift and electric pallet truck.
* Complete all required paperwork accurately and submit at the end of each shift.
* Conduct thorough vehicle checks before and after each shift to ensure safety and compliance.
* Report any vehicle or equipment issues, non-conformities, or near-misses promptly to your line manager.
* Ensure timely and secure deliveries while maintaining the integrity of goods during transit.
* Use electronic delivery equipment and technology for route optimisation and proof of delivery.
Must Haves
* Experience & Personal Qualities :
o Proven experience driving Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV).
o Proficiency in using power pallet trucks and electronic delivery equipment.
o Strong customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and reliability.
o High standards for maintaining and respecting equipment.
o Ability to work efficiently and meet delivery deadlines.
* License/Certification :
o Digital Tacho Card (Required).
o Valid Class 2 HGV License (Required).
o Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) (Required).
o Strong knowledge of driver regulations and safety protocols (Required).

Agency Briefing
This role is full-time, with guaranteed 50 hours per week at a rate of £622 per week. Overtime is available at time and a half for hours worked beyond 50.
