JOB PURPOSE
To collate information and liaise with customers and the External sales team, enabling the company to achieve maximum orders at maximum profit. In addition, to ensure that the business is conducted in accordance with the company's quality systems, as defined in the Quality and Procedures Manual.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This is an important role within GRS, with primary responsibility to:
* Internal sales processes and customer care.
* Identifying new product and customer opportunities.
* To maintain a tender and live record on prices, customers and activity.
* Receipt, vetting and pricing of all enquiries alongside directors and sales team.
* Proactive weekly calling to customers ensuring their paving needs are covered.
* To establish with builders merchants and landscape centers all relevant information including who will be placing the order, specification required, start date and delivery.
* Specific tasks as directed by your directors and line manager.
* To prepare quotations and negotiate for orders on live enquiries in line with management guidelines.
* Liaise with sales team to identify potential new business.
* To promote the company image and develop good customer company relationship.
* Responsibility for compliance and discharging legal duties with regards to HR and Health & Safety to promote a safe, equitable and legally compliant work place.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB
* Good at building relationships, a team player, competitive, self-motivated, tenacious, positive, creative.
* Previous telesalesexperience (Desirable).
* GCSE preferable.
