Come and assist with the management of Leicestershire Polices Vehicle Removal Scheme.
The Vehicle Fleet Team are looking to recruit a Senior Vehicle Removal Assistant on a full-time permanent basis. While this role is based at Leicestershire Force Headquarters there may be a requirement to work temporarily at other locations within the Force area, undertaking a similar role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist with the release and/or disposal of all recovered vehicles, managing the disposal of vehicles by auction when appropriate.
2. Represent the Force in relation to Vehicle Recovery at National and Regional levels.
3. Help with the development with Vehicle Recovery work systems and processing procedures.
4. Liaise with contractors, police officers, insurance companies and all other interested and third parties.
The must haves
5. Experience of administrative duties such as invoicing, accounting and report writing.
6. The ability to defuse difficult situations and effectively deal with distressed or irate individuals.
7. Working knowledge of Data Protection and Computer Misuse legislation.
8. The ability to carry out audits and inspections of contractor's premise.

Salary - £27,789 - £29,874
For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.
