Nursery Practitioner - Supporting Children with Additional NeedsLocated in Burnley
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team at a nursery in Burnley, providing support to children with additional needs in a nurturing nursery school environment. This is a part-time position, working five afternoons a week.
Hours:11:40 AM - 3:45 PM, Monday to Friday, starting after the February half-term.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide individual and group support to children with additional needs, ensuring they are fully included in nursery activities.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
* Work closely with the Nursery team, sharing insights and contributing to each child's progress.
* Help implement tailored strategies and activities to support children's development and wellbeing.
* Support children in developing social, emotional, and communication skills.
* Observe, record, and share children's progress with senior staff.
Requirements:
1. Experience working with young children, particularly those with additional needs.
2. A compassionate and patient approach to supporting children.
3. Excellent communication skills.
