Job summary We are looking for a dynamic and visionary leader to oversee the development and management of two prominent national highly specialised services at the National Renal Complement Therapeutics Service (NRCTC) within Newcastle upon Tyne NHS Foundation Trust: the National Atypical Haemolytic Uraemic Syndrome service and the National C3 Glomerulopathy service (http://www.atypicalhus.co.uk/) The candidate will require exceptional communication and negotiation skills to help us develop and lead these exciting services. With key responsibility for the service, the post holder will be responsible for: negotiations with NHS England and key stakeholders; coordination of the work of the other members of the NRCTC; media relations; managing the budget for the service; ensuring performance standards are monitored and achieved and negotiation of key contracts.
