Job Description
Position: Parks Technical Officer - Allotments
Location: Waverley Court
Salary: £32,010 - £37,626
Hours: 36 per week
To positively and actively contribute to one or more of the functions within the Parks, Green Spaces and Visitor Services team, including but not limited to:
1. Play and Technical
2. Allotment Provision, Strategy and Development
3. Quality Initiatives - Green Flag, Park Quality Assessments, etc.
4. Landscape and Design Initiatives - Living Landscapes, Floral Clock, etc.
5. Educational programmes
Responsibilities:
1. Management of the city's 1,700 individual allotments and a 7,000+ customer waiting list.
2. Maintenance of allotment sites.
3. Administration of rents and waiting list.
4. Regular assessment and enforcement of allotment conditions.
5. Working with partner groups (including FEDAGA, SAGS and Scottish Government) on service development and promotion.
6. Complaint/conflict resolution.
7. Responding to service requests and enquiries.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
