Overview of Role: We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support professional to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft365 including Intune, and SharePoint, and will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide first and second-line technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
2. Manage and administer Microsoft365 services, including user account management, email configuration, and troubleshooting.
3. Implement and maintain Microsoft Intune for mobile device management and application management, ensuring compliance with company policies.
4. Support and manage SharePoint sites, including site creation, permissions management, and troubleshooting.
5. Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware and software.
6. Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, security and telephony systems.
7. Analyse fault trends to discover recurrent themes.
8. Collaborate with other IT team members to develop, refine and implement IT policies and procedures.
9. Form teams within, and out with, the department to complete implementation projects as they arise.
10. Provide training and support to end-users on IT systems and applications.
11. Document technical issues and solutions in the IT knowledge base.
Skills and Knowledge:
1. Experience with cloud-based endpoint management solutions, including MDM and RMM systems.
2. Knowledge of network protocols and security.
3. Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices.
4. Knowledge of IP Telephony.
5. Experience of Powershell Scripting / Power BI.
6. Knowledge of Cyber security best practices.
7. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Training and Experience:
1. Proven experience as an IT Support Technician or similar role.
2. Strong knowledge of Microsoft365, Intune, Azure and SharePoint.
3. Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Office applications.
4. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are a plus.
