We are currently representing an award-winning Architectural Practice based in Nottingham that is actively seeking a Senior Architectural Technician to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technician to develop their career within a well-established, talented team with an exciting pipeline of work.
Our client specialises within the Commercial and Leisure sectors, but do also cover a wider array of projects and sectors. Projects that the successful Senior Architectural Technician will be involved in will be small to large scale and will roughly go up to £30 million in value. Key responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing architectural drawings, high quality technical drawing packages, working closely with clients, leading a project team, as well as ensuring projects are completed to a high standard. The Senior Architectural Technician will be using Revit on a daily basis, so professional experience with this software is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working on a range of developments within the Commercial, Residential, and Leisure sectors
* Leading a small project team
* Preparing and reviewing architectural drawings
* Creating high quality technical drawing packages
* Working closely with clients
* Running projects from inception to completion
* Helping mentor more junior members of the team
* Attending site meetings
* Using Revit on a daily basis
* Living within a commutable distance of Nottingham
* Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations and modern construction knowledge
* Experience running projects (highly advantageous)
* Experience leading a small project team
* Minimum 5 years of professional experience within a relevant role
* Highly motivated with an excellent work ethic
* Professional experience with Revit (Essential)
